Made with Natural Materials

For the use of natural materials we prefer the use of natural materials like 100% organic cotton, hemp or jute. In this way we want to produce footwear which are ecologic and qualitive.

The cotton we use comes from GOTS organic cotton certified uppers. One of our core values is being PETA-approved. (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)

Why we love HEMP?

  • It’s one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics available.
  • Hemp is naturally resistant to insects and diseases. Meaning it requires no use of pesticide or insecticide.
  • It requires little water to grow. Hemp has a very strong fibre that last longer. Its ages well, meaning the more you wear it, the softer it will become
  • Hemp is carbon negative and biodegradable.
  • It is antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-allergen.
  • And the world number one natural fabric, that is UV resistant.

Why we also love JUTE fabrics?

Jute fibres are also 100% bio-degradable and recyclable. It is the second most important fibre after cotton. It has good insulating and antistatic properties.

The natural advantages of jute are it’s highly breathable and comfortable to wear.

It produces no irritation to the skin, at the same time the material is soft and strong.

Take by example jute bags, they are soft and they very durable, they last and last.
Jute has a very low CO2 footprint.

And what about FELT?

An other great fabric to work with. FELT has a good insulating performance. Warm in winters, Cold in summers. Its self-regulating.

It is a highly breathable fabric.

Felt is colorproof and water/dirt repellent due to the natural oils it contains.
